Why do people think we are better than animals?
We are not, full stop. Yes, we have differences, we can speak, it means nothing, a fish can survive underwater for long periods, birds can fly. Just because we think we are more aware, it means nothing, go into a jungle, and we will see how brilliant you are. Many animals have better features fish – aquatic, flying birds. Theres no excuse, we are animals, intelligent animals, and dominant, but lots of animals domiant in their own way. Theres no excuse. And please do not quote the Bible as if it is some Factbook, I believe, and therefore any biblical answers will mean something to me. We can be dominant in the modern world and technology (not nature) but that does not mean we are better or superior. "Renee" Does this make us superior? Better? How about this, I dont see people flying, bird can not humans. Got something to say?
Humanity has enslaved and dominated animals for years and there has been no organized animal turns against us yet. Once you have all the power you tend to feel superior, even if you are not.
