bullet weights fishing

What is the best way to consider your plastic worm.?
I usually use a small finish nails (with the flat end cut off) inside the body of the worm. I liked it better than a bullet weight or split shot. It seems the best way, but I'm looking for something hopefully better. I usually fish with a 6 "or 7.5" culprit worm.
Stick with bullet weight why is it designed that way is to give the fish do not feel any resistance to lure, when he sucks it in, resulting in more hook sets. If not, the ball weight, fish it weightless or even go for Senko type lures fished weightless – they cast very well without the weight.
