Were you Deep Sea Fishing in Florida?

I want to plan a short trip for my fiance in November. Maybe a 3-5 hour deep sea fishing trip, either in Naples or Ft. Lauderdale. I would like to hear from you if you know the details and hopefully a reference to a particular company. This area is the only place we can go.

I live just north of Naples, has been fishing offshore here. Fishing is decent but you have to go so far out, 20 + miles to get in the water, even 40 'in depth. Porgies, HOGFISH, snapper and grouper are typical fare. I fish a lot in Islamorada. While the bottom is different from Lauderdale the fish species is the same. You get a wider variety of fish on the East Coast and not having to travel so far to achieve decent water depths. I would say to go to Ft. Lauderdale for offshore fishing. Sorry, do not know the charters there. Hope you all have a great time.
