pay as you go/ pre paid cell phone service in rural Alaska ?
this sumer im going to the village of Naknek in the bristol bay area of Alaska to work on a salmon fishing boat, i know there is a GSM cellphone network by GCI wireless all over that area that supports talk text and [edge] data. so would it be possible to buy a pay as you go smart phone from like att or some other gsm network with unlimited roaming and use it there?
