WoW Engineering Guide
A quick summary to inform you as to how World Of Warcraft engineering works and then how to level up.
It is considered a primary profession which any race or class can train.The gnomes if you choose them however have a slight advantage as they have the passive racial skill of increased engineering. This does not mean that you can’t do great with any other class.
There are numerous items needed to be sourced or gathered as an engineer. Items such as jewels and various ores (metals) are needed to craft certain items.
Certain items crafted by an engineer can only be used by another engineer.There are quite a few various things you can make as an engineer. These include bullets,dynamite, bombs,guns,flying machines or helmets. Some other cool things to craft will be jumper cables-to shock a player back to life when dead and repair bots that repair your gear-handy when doing raids.
Engineering + mining equals number 1 as most of the raw material needed by engineers come from mining.Mining takes time so engineering will be the same as you will be gathering through mining. You can always take a short cut and instead of gathering the items yourself just buy them at the Auction House. This will however entail plenty of gold.
Ore bars or metal bars that have been smelted will be the basis of your items that you need to build. Including sometimes the odd other materials you may require to produce a certain item. Fishing can also come in handy to gather some items from chests in the water. Engineering can be a tough profession as some recipes require many various items so this can be time consuming and taxing to locate but its still good fun nonetheless. Try turning someone into a chicken or shrinking them with a ray and you will see what I mean.
As some of the items you make can only be used by other engineers then your target market for selling these items will be small and every now and then it will feel as though you are spending more than you are making but hang in there.

This is what you will need to do to get started as a World Of Warcraft engineer.
Get trained in engineering by a WoW trainer. You will find engineering supplies in a vast amount of places.Various sources will be mining, smelting ores, mobs and vendors. Some formulae items are created through other formulas so do not throw away these items in a hurry as you may need them later on.
