fishing flies identification

fish identification….does anyone know what fish this is?
I was at the beach the other day….I live in South Florida….and i saw this fish that was really cool but i have know idea what it was…..
The fish looked like and African butter fly with the little wing like fines…it was also about the size of one as well…the fishes body was blue on top and silver on bottom with blue silver and black on the wing fins….it also had big eyes..
I know its not a flying fish….the shape of the fish was wrong….I’ve looked in my fish books and on the internet and can not find this fish…
Does anyone know what it might be….
I don’t have a picture thats what i want to find…Its really odd. the fish look just like a afracan butter fly with the wings…but was a blue (dark to mid shade) and siliver bright silver on bottom….normal fish shape…very slyinder with big silver eyes…..its was for sure a surface swimmer….
Hmm..looks fishy. If there is a photo of the fish den it wud be easier to identify.
