is it safe to keep gold fish ina large bowl with oxygen tubes?

I just have two beautiful goldfish and I was just thinking about their safety

No it is not ok. Goldfish grow very large, can live for 30 years and are messy eaters who need a filter, not just an air stone. I have about 40 goldfish in a pond, my oldest is 12 inches and over 10 years old. If you fancy goldfish, they need a tank with a minimum of 20 gallons, 10 for each fish. If they are commons or comets, they will spend at least 55 gallons that commons can grow very large. Goldfish live in bowls get crippled and their lives are much shorter. They develop health problems easily from living in a poor water containing high levels of ammonia. All fish will benefit from a biological filter, the house beneficial bacteria change ammonia into nitrate which is less harmful to fish. Rain water changes so keep nitrates in check. This is especially important for goldfish because they eat a lot and produce a lot of waste.
