WoW Fishing Guide

When you play WOW, would you know that fishing is a secondary profession that can be learned on top of your primary profession in WOW. It is a great way to make a ton of gold, especially since most people find it dull and boring. Fishing and cooking go hand in hand and there are plenty of people taking up cooking without fishing. They want your fish to most of leveling and needs cooking, so if you have patience, fishing may make you lots of World of Warcraft gold.

Educators in all major cities in Azeroth (not Northrend). You must train in the fishery and then buy a fishing rod and bubbles. Bubbles will make fishing a lot easier, especially if you are in an area where fish are orange to you.

If you have a higher level character, you will want to buy upgrade books from the "Expert Fishing – Bass and You" from Old Man Heming in Booty Bay. You will also need to buy Master Fishing – The Art of Angling "from Juno Duffrain in Cenarion Refuge, Zangarmarsh. If you do not have a higher level character, you can also buy these from the Auction House. It will cost you more gold than if you just bought them from vendors, but it is an opportunity for those who do not want to make the trip.

For this particular WoW Fishing Guide assumes you have a high level, and you can jump from zone to zone without worrying about mobs. If you are a second level and then consider that some areas will have a high PVP and mobs that will be difficult to combat.

Level 1 to 75

First you have to travel to your faction's off area. Each starting area has an area where you can fish. For Alliance, Dark Shire is a great place to level. even have a quest for you to get a better fishing rod with 5 fishing added to it. If you're Horde, Silver Pine Forest has a great lake to fish until you reach the 75th level

Level 75-150

This level begins fishing with PVP. What is worse is that it is a very popular area to PVP. There is a lake at South Shore, which is great for this level. There is also a river behind Tarren Mill, that is great for Horde. You can level up in this area.

Level 150 to 225

Fishing in the next zone just enough PVP. The best areas to skill up, Arathi Highlands and Desolace. The nice part about Desolace is that it is not as populated, so you can be able to fish without much hassle.

Level 225 to 300

This level is less PVPish and will often allow you to fish quietly. Azshara is virtually empty since the expansion packs, so you can fish the coast increasing your level. You can also fish in their hinterland or Plaguelands, Tanaris, or depending of fish you want to land.

Level 300-375

This level will increase from the Burning Crusade expansion pack. There is not much water in Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh but in a great way to increase fishing to the 350th After reaching 350, you can reach 375 in Terrokar Forest. There are other places in the Burning Crusade content and including Nagrand, but Nagrand is much higher density of PVP.

Level 375 to 450

For this level you can travel anywhere in Northrend to skill level. The expansion pack has just come out, so PVP is intense at this point. Be sure to group with other groups of your faction, or be ready to die a few times from being backstabbed by a rogue.

If you plan to incorporate fishing as a profession, I strongly recommend that you take up cooking as well. Hope this guide can give you some good help.
