Questions about lights on FishTv underwater camera?
I have a FishTV Underwater Viewing System for ice fishing. The camera part (shaped like a fish on a string … It is the part that makes immersed in water has a circle of light around the camera lens part. The lights do not turn on. I got this from a garage sale and can not figure out of whether I am an idiot and not turning the lights on, or should they go on automatically? If it should start automatically (and I think they should), does anyone know how to create them? Or is there a good place in the Wisconsin area where I could take this to get fixed? I do not even know where they sell this model …. Thanks!
It rightmost knob that says "My Max" is the control of light. The lights are not infrared at these models, only red LED's. (I own the same model!) If the lights do not work when called "max" buy an after-market LED submersible lights to attach to your camera device. Do a search for an "Aqua View Underwater Floodlight "($ 19.99) http://www.basspro.com should have some. Hope this helps? Good fishing.
