Do i have to feed largemouth bass live fish?
Hello,
I have a largemouth bass about 4 inches that is in a 50 gallon tank. I am very sensitive to my bass eating live fish its sad to me and i would like to know if there is an exception. Is there?
What about crickets? Or
Nightcwawlers!
Hmmm, you can try larger worms and similar insects but they really would prefer live fish. As he gets bigger you’ll have to feed him large fish in order to keep him feed. These guys usually do best with other large mouth bass, but in your tank I wouldn’t recomend another. These guys grow fast, and you’ll soon be looking for somehting larger just for this guy! They need a high protein diet, however this encourages them to grow bigger faster.
Best of Luck!
