Is there a "fishing off the pier" laws for North topsail Beach, NC?
I need to know if I need a generalized Fisher's license and if I hook a "shark" can I take him up.
It is perfectly legal to fish from this pier: http://www.seaviewfishingpier.com/ This site must point you in the right direction for a license. http://www.ncwildlife.org/fs_index_01_license.htm If you hook a shark, I suggest that you ask for assistance to get it up to the pier or cut line if it is too big. Be careful of sharks, they can really mess you up if not handled properly.
