pro bass fishing shirts
a good present for boyfriend’s dad who refuses to talk to me…?
so ive been great friends with this guy for awhile and we recently started dating. well his dad wont say a word to me. his dad usually has no problems with the girls that his son brings but for some reason this man refuses to talk to me. i try to conversate with him..no luck. i say hi. i ask how he is doing. i talk about things he is into..but still no response. i talk directly to him, and he’ll ignore me completely. My boyfriends brother finds it hilarious because he noticed it right away. I decided to buy this man a birthday present so may be he’ll say something because it weirds me out that i can not get a response. He likes bait fishing so I was just going to go to Bass Pro Shops and buy him a Bass Pro Shops shirt. Is that an appropriate present? If not, what would be?
Im dating the son obviously but I think its kind of essential for his parents to like me because they are his family. Im close to my family and he is to his family.
I think clothing is too personal. I would get him a few fishing lures or something if you get him anything. Personally, I wouldn’t get him anything. Maybe, the fact that he won’t talk to you isn’t really a personal thing but out of respect for his son he dosen’t really want to socialize with you . Although, it is wierd that he won’t even say hi to you. What does you bf say about it? This is important.
I mean if you get him a birthday present it might seem like you’re trying to be too personal with him you know and that might make him feel more uncomfortable with you. I guess my advice would be to just leave it as it is and move forward. I mean say hi but don’t go beyond that where put yourself out like that
