underwater fishing lights

Do underwater fishing lights work?
A "solid light" can be very effective to lure fish to your dock. I'm not too sure a floating or submersible lights ………( esp in Freshwater). Here is my opinion about lighting: Consistency is the key to use light to attract fish night, (in Fresh or saltwater). A waterproof light on a timer and turn on at dusk and off at dawn (at a dock or shore) may be great for fishing the local baitfish accumulate, thus drawing aggressive game fish. but only in certain environments's doing a "floating" boat lights so much influence a night-fishing trip. Why? It takes time for fish to become acclimated (or conditioned) to know their feeding time will be "extended" (because of light). Not to mention, in some areas of the country, "Shining" fish is VERY illegal …….( in Freshwater). (But I know of no other that DIS provides a dock light.) One of the best places for a liquid (or submersible) light is for Ocean fishing offshore. Hope this helps ya one way or another? TU's to Unmam.
